































Dr. Steven Puderbaugh BS, DVM
Dr. Steven Puderbaugh, our Medical Director, received his BS in Bacteriology in 1979 and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Iowa State University in 1983. During his eight years at Iowa State, he also gained valuable experience working at the National Animal Disease Center on animal disease research projects. While in veterinary school, he married his wife Deb and started raising Golden Retrievers.
Upon graduation, Dr. Puderbaugh joined a mixed animal practice in Burlington, Iowa. After a few months, the Puderbaughs moved east and took a position in Amesbury, MA, where he focused primarily on the small animal and equine portion of the practice. In 1985, Dr. Puderbaugh opened Raymond Animal Hospital in a storefront on Main Street in Raymond. Our new hospital was built in 1989.
Dr. Puderbaugh enjoys the challenge of all aspects of veterinary medicine. He performs most of the orthopedic surgeries and many of the soft tissue surgeries in the practice. He likes the satisfaction of solving a challenging medical case and seeing the resulting success of treatment.
Being involved in the local community is very important to Dr. Puderbaugh. He is a charter member of the Raymond Area Rotary Club and the Raymond Chamber of Commerce. He and his family attend the Candia Congregational Church and are active in community projects including developing the Riverside Bark dog park in Raymond. He has also been involved in international humanitarian projects through the International Medical Equipment Collaborative and the Rotary Foundation.
The Puderbaughs currently reside in Candia. They are very active in the activities of their daughters, Laura and Krista. Their two Golden Retrievers and their cat Dexter round out the family.
Dr. Elizabeth Birnie MVPM, DVM
Dr. Elizabeth Birnie was born and raised in California. She graduated from University of California at Davis Veterinary School in 1982. Dr. Birnie also received her MPVM (Masters in Epidemiology). She worked for the University of Florida for three years doing research on Heartwater, a tick-borne disease affecting livestock.
Dr. Birnie worked in Maryland at a mixed practice with a dairy emphasis. After several years there, she married her husband who was from New England and eventually moved to Deerfield, New Hampshire. When she first arrived to the area, she worked at Raymond Animal Hospital on a part-time basis but soon had two children. She was home with her two boys for a number of years until resuming work in a mixed practice. She rejoined Raymond Animal Hospital as a staff veterinarian in 2005.
In her spare time, she rides her horse, cross country skis, and goes to her son's school and sports events. She also enjoys time with her two black Labs and one cat.
Dr. Randy MacNeill DVM
Dr. MacNeill has a BS from St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia. He then attended and completed his DVM from Atlantic Veterinary College at Prince Edward Island. He has been a Veterinarian for 16 years now and has been treating and caring for animals here at the Raymond Animal Hospital since 1998. He currently has two dogs, Cicero and Tullia and four cats, Sadie, Otis, Levon and T-Bone. Dr. MacNeill spends his spare time running, playing hockey and doing crosswords.

Tammy Fortier AAS, CVT
Tammy has an associate degree in Animal Science and majored in Veterinary technology from NH Community Technical College. She has worked as a technician for 10 years but joined the Raymond Animal Hospital team in 2004. She has a son Thomas Jr. She also has 2 dogs, Nellie and Kovu, 3 horses, a cockatiel and a Congo African Grey. Tammy loves spending time with her family, dog training (obedience and agility), fostering, rehabbing and rescuing dogs, horseback riding, showing and training. She also loves riding her Harley Davidson. Tammy owns her own kennel.
Sandy Hurd AAS, AAS, CVT
Sandy attended The Essex Agriculture and Technical Institute of Hawthorn MA receiving her AAS in Animal Health Technology and also Large Animal Science. She also completed her VTNE in 2006. She has horses, a pony, cats, birds, chinchillas, rabbits, and multiple chicken, guinea hens and geese. She has been a technician for 30 years and joined our team in 2007.
Jennifer Seuss BS, CVT, LVT
Jen received a BS in Biology from Framingham State College, currently holds her LVT in the state of Georgia and her CVT here in New Hampshire. She has been working as a technician for 10 years now! She joined the Raymond Animal Hospital team in 2007 and specializes in dentistry. She has a husband Steve, son Colton, 2 dogs, Shorty and Pike, as well as 2 cats named Pete and Midnight. She loves to spend time with her family, photography, scrap booking and watching her brother-in-law race!
Stevie St. Hilaire AAS, CVT
Stevie has been a part of the Raymond Animal Hospital team since 2005. She has an associate degree in Animal Science from Great Bay Community College where she majored in Veterinary Technology. She completed her VTNE in 2008. She is surrounded by the her very supportive mother, 2 dogs, Bandit and Spike, and several cats, Lillian (her baby) Lucy, Elvis, Jack, Cookie, Molly, and Kayia. Stevie loves her cats, Rottweilers, phlebotomy, playing soccer and going to concerts. She is a self-proclaimed "future crazy cat lady!"

Deb Peck
Deb was a client here at the Raymond Animal Hospital for 20 years. She left her office job to come and pursue her dream job working with animals. She has worked at the Raymond Animal Hospital since 2006 and completed an online Veterinary Assistant course. She has been married for 35 years, has 2 children and 5 grandchildren! She loves spending time with her 6 cats, Mr. Blue Eyes, Baby Blue, Little Boy Blue, Xeros, Sammy and Jasmine. She is a self-proclaimed "crazy cat lady!" She loves helping out in surgery, crocheting, puzzles and computer games.

Kimberly Bemis AAS
Kim joined our team in 2005. She has an associate degree in Executive Secretarial from Southern New Hampshire University. She is married to Bill, and is a mother to three sons, twin boys Matt and Derek, a son Nicholas. She has three dogs and two cats. She enjoys scrap booking, traveling, Ebay, antiquing and spending time with her family.
Katheryn Campiglio
Katheryn has been working here at the Raymond Animal Hospital since 2004. She has a husband Ed and 2 daughters Lauren and Liza. She has two cats Rye and Chester both whom she adopted after they were abandoned here at the hospital. She enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Jill MacDormand Kimball
Jill has been part of the Raymond Hospital team since 1995. She has a husband, 2 sons, 1 dog and 5 cats. She is a jack-of-all-trades, master of none! She enjoys hunting fishing and camping.

Deb received her BS in Biology as well as Physical Education from Iowa State University. She has been a part of the Raymond Animal Hospital team since the very beginning, 1985. She is married to Dr. Puderbaugh and has 2 daughters, Laura and Krista. They have 2 dogs, Zephyr and Meringue, and a cat named Dexter. Deb enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, knitting, crocheting and crafts. She is an avid reader and a sports enthusiast. She also loves volunteer work.

He came to us as a barn kitten from Chester in 2003. He was supposed to be the predecessor of "Rudy" a companion to ride around on Dr. Puderbaughs shoulder but he has proved to be a bit feisty!
Fiona
Fiona has lived here since 1996. She came to us for euthanasia due to her severe food allergies. She was relinquished to the hospital for treatment and we decided to adopt her!
