EMERGENCY HOSPITALS
Heartworm Prevention:
Heartworm is transmitted by mosquitoes. It is easily preventable with a monthly treat! Your dog must be tested before starting preventative and yearly after that. We recommend that every dog and cat be on a monthly preventative such as Heartgard Plus, Interceptor, Sentinel (dogs only), Revolution (cats only) or Proheart6 (dogs 6 months-7 years only). Yearly testing is required.
Fleas:
We currently carry Frontline Plus (dogs and cats), Advantix (dogs only), Advantage (dogs and cats), Sentinel (dogs) Revolution (cats), and Capstar(dogs and cats).
Fleas and Ticks:
We carry Frontline Plus (dogs and cats) and Advantix (dogs only)
*Your pet must be a patient here and have been seen in the last year to be able to but any of these products. In the case of sentinel, your dog must be up to date on their heartworm test.
